Jake Paul Discusses Business Beef With Brother Logan Paul

  • “One of the things that pains me the most is we don’t do any business stuff together,” Jake says of his relationship with Logan.
  • Jake says he’s tried to give Logan equity in his businesses, which include Betr and Most Valuable Promotions.

After starting as social media content personalities, brothers Jake Paul and Logan Paul have become professional boxers with monumental reach across the sports business. But the younger brother and subject of Netflix’s new “Untold” docuseries says Logan has rejected potential business crossovers.

“One of the things that pains me the most is we don’t do any business stuff together,” Jake said of his brother. “I’ve tried to get [Logan] involved in MVP, I’ve wanted to give him equity in everything I’m doing, and he just doesn’t want to. I think he wants to create his own story and his own lane, but it bothers me.”

Logan, 28, has headlined boxing fights against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and KSI, while his Prime energy drink brand sponsors MLB’s Los Angeles Dodgers, UFC, and European soccer giants FC Barcelona, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich. Logan is also a WWE wrestler.

Jake, 26, founded boxing promoter company Most Valuable Promotions and recently defeated Nate Diaz in the ring to improve his pro boxing record to 8-1. Jake is also an investor in UFC’s parent company, Endeavor, and sports betting startup Betr, valued at $300 million after raising $35 million in June.

Jake commented while speaking on the Twin Talk podcast hosted by influencers Haley and Hanna Cavinder, who played college basketball at Miami and Fresno State.

“Our brands [are] more together, I feel like yall are separate, and our brand is the Cavinder Twins. Yours is more like Jake and Logan,” Hanna said on her podcast from Betr. The Cavinder twins own equity in Betr, which Jake co-founded in 2022 with Joey Levy.

“You guys can be more of a team. That’s one of the things I’ve always yearned for with Logan, and I’ve told him this, and I constantly harp on it,” Jake said. “I yearn for that so much, for us to be on the same team, but it just has always gotten shut down.”

Logan said earlier this month that it was “ridiculous” that he couldn’t bring a Prime bottle into the Dallas venue of Jake’s recent boxing fight against Diaz because Jake is a partner of competing energy drink Celsius.
