The ice tubs are back, albeit with social distancing.

Kevin Hart’s “Cold As Balls” returned to YouTube on Nov. 12 for the fourth season of the sports-centric interview show. Skateboarding superstar Tony Hawk is the first guest of Season 4, which will also include Lindsey Vonn, Demarcus Cousins, Ric Flair and Jemele Hill.

The first three seasons of “Cold As Balls” have generated more than 1.2 billion views and in excess of 31 million engagements on social media to date.

The show is produced by Hart’s multi-platform company, Laugh Out Loud, and OBB Media.

“Production has sort of returned, obviously with our new normal of COVID testing, face masks and face shield,” Kfir Goldberg, executive producer of “Cold As Balls,” told Front Office Sports.

“We wanted to do this season in-person, so we are shooting outdoors on a brand new set,” Goldberg added. “This was the most challenging season, not necessarily because people aren’t ready to shoot or didn’t want to shoot, but there’s never been a moment in sports where they’ve all been in-season at the same time.”

Last season was filmed via Zoom in the early days of the pandemic. The current season was shot outdoors in Canoga Park, Calif., on a set that includes artificial grass and artificial fans, cutouts like MLB and the NFL set up.

“The fun thing about this show is that Kevin doesn’t like to be overly prepared,” Goldberg said. “It’s not because of laziness. He prefers to really go into it organically and whatever comes up comes up.”
