Brewers Economy Heats Up With Milwaukee One Win Away From Title

Whether it’s in Milwaukee or Tampa, Brewers fans are creating an economy of their own.

Milwaukee Brewers fans cheer on their team during the ninth inning of Game 3 of the World Series Monday, Oct. 26, 2026 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Brewers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 10-1.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Brewers economy continues to take on a remarkable life of its own as the franchise nears its first World Series title.

After the Brewers pummeled the Rays, 10–1, in Monday’s Game 3 of the World Series to take a commanding 3–0 series lead, Milwaukee’s ardent fan base is descending on the Tampa Bay area in still-growing numbers and escalating ticket resale prices.

The low-end, get-in price for Tuesday’s Game 4 now stands at $926, according to TicketData, more than twice the final comparable figure for Game 3 as Brewers fans are anticipating a clinching win at Tropicana Field. Should the Brewers close out the World Series on Tuesday, it would be the event’s first sweep since the Giants beat the Tigers in 2012.

Back in Milwaukee, tickets for World Series watch parties at American Family Field are also soaring on the resale market. Get-in pricing for Game 4 tickets are now approaching $300 each, also more than double the secondary market figure at the beginning of the World Series.

The Brewers have drawn sellout crowds to their ballpark for the away game watch parties. The secondary market prices for those events stand out even more as the club initially sold those tickets for $15 each, with net proceeds going to the club’s charitable foundation. Similarly, $10 parking vouchers for the watch party are now garnering $80 or more on the resale market.

The unyielding passion from the Brewers fanbase, resembling the club’s relentless lineup, has been a defining storyline of this World Series. Milwaukee is MLB’s smallest media market, but the club has consistently performed well beyond its size in attendance, viewership, and merchandise sales—never more so than during the past month.

This Fall Classic in particular has seen Brewers fans establish several ticket and merchandise records, as well as the best local-market viewership to start a World Series since 2019.

That fan energy certainly transferred to the Rays’ Tropicana Field, where thousands of Brewers fans made Game 3 feel like a Milwaukee home game. That was underscored as Milwaukee posted the largest two-out rally in World Series history, scoring eight runs in a fifth-inning outburst to break the game wide open.

“It was unbelievable, our players felt it, and they’ll tell you about it,” Brewers manager Pat Murphy said after Game 3. “The players looked around like, ‘Wow!’ You could tell even during [pregame] introductions. There were a lot of people here for the Brewers. That’s a statement about how much this team has captured the hearts of the people from Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin, all the Brewer fans. It was amazing, the level of support we got.”

The Fox Sports on-air crew, filled with former star MLB players and Baseball Hall of Famers, similarly was taken aback by the presence of the Brewers fans.

“It’s very, very surprising …but this is amazing how many Milwaukee Brewers fans there are [here],” said network analyst and former Yankees icon Derek Jeter.
