NFL Draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah is launching a new podcast jointly with ESPN and Omaha Productions, Front Office Sports has learned.
The name of the show will be Move the Sticks with Daniel Jeremiah. The title is the same as his podcast was when it was under the NFL Media umbrella—but with a new feed.
“I’ve fallen in love with podcasting over the last decade. It has become one of my favorite parts of this job,” Jeremiah said in a statement. “I couldn’t be more excited to join forces with Peyton and Eli at Omaha Productions. They’ve proven you can take football seriously and still have a blast doing it—that’s always been my goal with Move the Sticks. I’m passionate about roster building, player evaluation, and leadership. This show will dive into all three. I can’t wait to get started!”
The show launches Thursday, Sept. 3, and will air three times a week between then and May. It will encompass all things football, including college, the NFL, and the NFL Draft. Whereas Jeremiah cohosted his previous show with Bucky Brooks at NFL Media, he will be a solo host of his new podcast. Guests will include various coaches, GMs, and football analysts.
ESPN and Omaha are partnered on a number of other podcasts, including ones hosted by Brian Windhorst, Scott Van Pelt, Jeff Passan, Greg McElroy, Mina Kimes, and Peter Schrager.
While the league’s digital arm retained Jeremiah’s old feed, it has renamed it to NFL News Hub. There was a brief controversy earlier this month when the league uploaded two new shows to the feed that sounded like they might have been AI-hosted, but an NFL spokesperson told FOS that they were voiced by a real human.
