Bottle Service Minimums at Miami Clubs Are Cheaper Than CFP Tickets

Two of Miami’s biggest clubs are treating it like any other weeknight, and one venue isn’t even open.

Table minimums at the hottest Miami clubs are surprisingly tame around the national championship game on Monday night.

Front Office Sports surveyed three of the hottest clubs—in arguably the hottest club city in the country—about the minimum spend required to reserve a table Monday night when Miami takes on Indiana for the college football title.

LIV, the nightclub located at the swanky Fontainebleau Hotel, and E11even, a nightclub-strip club hybrid, have relatively modest minimums, by their standards. Club Space, an institution in the city’s dance scene, will not even be open.

A promoter for LIV told FOS that a table for eight (with four men, max) would have a $1,000 minimum spend. Bigger tables range from $2,000-4,000; a table for 12, with eight men max, would have a $4,000 minimum. LIV is typically closed on Monday nights, and these prices do not represent an uptick from the average weeknight.

At E11even, a promoter told FOS that a table in the pit would have a $1,000 minimum and a lower VIP table would be $500, both for parties of four. These were the prices for if patrons get to the club by 7:30 p.m., when the game kicks off. The promoter declined to specify what it would cost patrons who want a table after the game.

The E11even promoter also said that they are keeping minimums in line with typical “off night” evenings, and that they are trying to avoid pricing out customers who are already paying thousands of dollars for tickets to the game (resale ticket prices for the national championship game are currently higher than any CFP national championship on record).

For comparison, tables on a Saturday night when Nelly is performing would have $2,000-2,500 minimums.

The game being on a Monday and expensive tickets notwithstanding, clubs have an opportunity to capitalize on the influx of deep-pocketed visitors to the town. The Hurricanes, playing in their home city, haven’t won a national championship in 25 years. Indiana has a large, wealthy upper-tier alumni base that likes to party, and this run is potentially a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
