The 25 Highest-Paid NBA Small Forwards

  • Jimmy Butler is the highest-paid small forward at just under $49 million yearly.
  • Three players make over $44 million annually.

Heat superstar Jimmy Butler tops the chart as the highest-paid NBA small forward. In 2021, Butler signed a three-year, $146.4 million contract extension allowing him to make more than $48.7 million per year.

Following just behind Butler is former MVP Kevin Durant at $48.55 million. Durant signed a four-year, $194.22 million deal with the Nets in 2021 before being traded to the Suns in February of 2023.

Coming in at three and four on the list are Kawhi Leonard at $44.06 million and Michael Porter Jr. at $35.85 million. Kawhi’s salary will increase going into next season as he recently signed a three-year, $149.65 million extension to stay with the Clippers.

Finishing off the top five is the Pelicans’ Brandon Ingram at $31.65 million. Ingram signed a five-year, $158.25 million contract in 2020.
