The WNBA Finals is heading to Game 7 for the first time in history. It’s also the league’s hottest ticket.
The get-in price for Game 7 between the Valkyries and Dream at the Chase Center in San Francisco is $381 as of Friday morning, the most expensive ticket in WNBA Finals history, according to TicketData. It’s seven times more expensive than a Valkyries regular-season ticket, and about 39% more expensive than the previous Finals ticket price of $275 for Game 1 of the same series in San Francisco.
Two other Finals games follow this year: Game 4 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta ($246) and Game 2 at Chase Center ($228).
The most expensive WNBA Finals game before this series came in Game 5 of the 2024 WNBA Finals between the Lynx and Liberty (a do-or-die game at the time because the Finals had yet to expand to a seven-game series), where the get-in price at Barclays Center in Brooklyn was $213.
The increased ticket prices show the WNBA’s continued growth as prices for marquee events continue to shoot up. At the WNBA All-Star Game in July, the get-in ticket price at the United Center in Chicago exceeded $200 and was more than four times higher than the 2025 event at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Saturday’s game in Ballhalla, the nickname for the Valkyries’ home court, is expected to be a sellout. Golden State has sold out every single home game since joining the WNBA as an expansion team last season, leading the league in average and total attendance in back-to-back seasons.
The game tips off at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. local time at the Chase Center. Whichever team wins will take home the first title in their franchise’s history.
