  • The Top 24 selected student-athletes will compete for the “Curry Cup.”
  • UNDERRATED Golf will provide all-expense paid meals, travel, hotel accommodations, and elite PGA Tour courses.

NBA superstar Stephen Curry has added golf to his lifestyle brand, announcing the launch of UNDERRATED Golf, with the goal of increasing opportunities for underrepresented individuals.

Part of the expansion into golf: the UNDERRATED Golf Tour for the top 24 selected boys and girls, which ends in a tour championship and the “Curry Cup.”

UNDERRATED Golf will provide all-expense paid meals, travel, hotel accommodations, and elite PGA Tour courses.

“UNDERRATED Golf will provide equity, access and opportunity, recognizing the instrumental role the sport plays as one of the greatest vehicles and connectors for life successes,” Curry said in a statement.

The three-time NBA champion and two-time MVP with the Warriors created the UNDERRATED brand in 2019 with the purpose of “celebrating the underdog.”

Curry has worked in the past to bring more diversity to the sport. In 2019, he made a seven-figure donation to fund a men’s and women’s Division I golf program at Howard University.
