Mike Tirico will miss Sunday night’s Bears-Bucs game in Chicago, Tirico and NBC said in a statement Sunday afternoon.

The game was set to be Tirico’s 300th NFL broadcast. Noah Eagle will do play-by-play on Sunday Night Football in his place.

“Unfortunately, I will have to miss tonight’s game in Chicago due to a health issue,” NBC quoted Tirico saying in a statement. He said he would return next week in Cincinnati, where the Bengals will host the Steelers in Week 10.

Eagle, who calls the NBA and college football for NBC, called Saturday night’s Miami-Notre Dame game in South Bend, Indiana, about 90 miles from Chicago.

NBC Sports did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
