Skydance Sports has initiated an executive shakeup weeks after closing on the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, Front Office Sports confirmed.

FOS obtained a memo circulated Thursday by Skydance global sports chairman David Berson that outlined several exits and promotions in the executive ranks.

Nate Smeltz, a popular executive who headed up the TNT Sports communications and talent department, will no longer be with the company. Also out are CBS production EVP Harold Bryant, TNT Sports CFO Sophia Constantinides, TNT Sports Ventures president Patrick Crumb, TNT Sports HR SVP Donald Knight, and TNT SVP of strategic partnerships Raphael Poplock, the memo noted.

“I am grateful for their leadership, partnership and immeasurable contributions over the years,” Berson wrote. “They are all excellent executives whom I greatly admire and respect, and I thank them for everything they have given to CBS Sports and TNT Sports.”

Former TNT Sports CEO Luis Silberwasser announced his departure to staff earlier this month.

Berson also revealed other roles for the leadership ranks of Skydance Sports.

Notably, Craig Berry, a talented production executive from TNT Sports, is remaining at the combined company as EVP and chief content officer and longtime CBS Sports digital executive Jeff Gerttula was named EVP, managing director overseeing digital, international, strategy, and business development for sports. Additional executives named included Patty Power (EVP, operations and engineering), Chris Carter (EVP, CFO), Kelly Dunne (EVP and president of marketing), Jen Sabatelle (EVP, comms), Bryn Berglund (SVP, HR), Doug Bernstein (SVP, insights and audience strategy), Dan Weinberg (EVP, programming), Kevin Gildewell (SVP, legal), and Deanna O’Toole (SVP, business affairs).

The new leadership team was first reported by Sports Business Journal. A Skydance spokesperson declined to comment.
