LaChina Robinson and Sarah Kustok are expected to be analysts on NBC and Peacock’s coverage of the WNBA this season, sources told Front Office Sports.
Robinson is expected to rotate as a studio analyst and color commentator, while Kustok is expected to be a color commentator, sources said. An NBC spokesperson declined to comment.
Robinson has covered the WNBA for over 15 years, primarily as an analyst at ESPN. She has previously worked for NBC as an analyst for men’s and women’s Olympic basketball. She played four years at Wake Forest. Before entering the media space, she worked in Georgia Tech’s women’s basketball program for seven years.
Kustok is an analyst for the Nets on YES Network and a sideline reporter for Fox Sports NFL, and has been a part of CBS Sports’s WNBA studio coverage. She has also already been named a WNBA color commentator on USA Network telecasts this season. Kustok played college basketball at DePaul.
FOS previously reported that Sue Bird will be an analyst for NBC and Peacock WNBA coverage this season. NBC later announced that she would be working in the studio. FOS also previously reported that Noah Eagle, Zora Stephenson, and Michael Grady will be play-by-play broadcasters on the NBC Sports package.
As part of its comprehensive rights package, NBC is reentering the WNBA, which it previously aired from 1997-2002.
