YETI Becomes Official Outdoor Partner of NASCAR

YETI now becomes one of 50 other companies to represent NASCAR in the NASCAR Fuel for Business Council.


NASCAR has once again added another partner to its name, with YETI Brand serving as the Official Outdoor Partner of the sport. YETI now becomes one of 50 other companies to represent NASCAR in the NASCAR Fuel for Business Council.

“YETI is honored to officially be a part of the NASCAR family,” said CEO, Matt Reintjes. “We’re proud to be associated with the many influential brands that partner with NASCAR.”

Reintjes also notes how the passion in NASCAR and YETI line-up hand-in-hand saying, “The sport is built around passion, and because of that common ground we feel that this partnership is an ideal fit for our brand.”

YETI is the leader in stainless steel drinkware. According to Forbes, from 2013–2015, YETI’s cooler sales rose from $89.9 million to $468.9 million, and drinkware steel tumblers saw an increase by 704% percent in the same span.

With the fact that NASCAR fans are 40 percent more likely to engage in outdoor activities than non-fans, YETI’s partnership and selling limitations benefit the NASCAR population well, per Simmons Research.

NASCAR’s season duration spans from February-November, with a bulk of the season in the south and midwest during Summer months. With YETI’s technology in perfecting the art of keeping drinks cold, fans and spectators can sport their favorite beverage in a tumblers and ramblers with their driver’s number and autograph.

The NASCAR season resumes at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 20th followed by the 10 Days of Thunder leading up to the main event, the Coca-Cola 600 on May 28th.
