Major League Baseball Opening Day is here, and baseball fans are reaching for their wallets to buy tickets.

The good news?

Baseball is still one of the most cost-effective sports. The average “get-in” ticket price across all of today’s home openers is $72, according to TicketCity.

But across MLB’s 30 teams, there are plenty of variances. As expected, tickets for the biggest, most successful clubs cost the most. Tickets for small market teams cost the least.

The most expensive game currently is the Arizona Diamondbacks at the Los Angeles Dodgers ($155). Dodgers tickets have been running around $250 per seat over the past. That’s the highest in the league.

The cheapest game is the Milwaukee Brewers’ home opener against the New York Mets ($17). Cold weather in Milwaukee is dissuading fans from showing up in person.
