With the Eagles the last undefeated team in the NFL, the NHL’s Flyers off to a strong start, and the Union playing in the MLS Cup Playoff Conference Finals, fans in Philadelphia have a lot to be excited about.

But perhaps no other team in the city is attracting more fervor than the Phillies, who are headed to their first World Series since 2009. It’s showing in merchandise sales.

Following their series-clinching win over the Padres on Sunday, the Phillies set a League Championship Series record by selling more merchandise in the first 24 hours than any team in MLB history, per Fanatics, the league’s official e-commerce partner.

The previous record was held by the 2016 Chicago Cubs — who set the record after defeating the Dodgers in the NLCS en route to the franchise’s first title in 108 years.

The Phillies also set a joint record with their World Series opponent, the Houston Astros, by selling the most merchandise combined between the ALCS and NLCS. The previous record was also set in 2016 by Chicago and Cleveland.

The Phillies’ official locker room T-shirts and hats were Fanatics’ best sellers.
