Tickets for next week’s MLB All-Star Game in Seattle are averaging as the most-expensive MLB All-Star Game on record, according to online marketplace TickPick.

The average purchase price on TickPick ahead of Tuesday’s All-Star Game is $797 – 67% more expensive than the 2022 All-Star Game ($477) held at Dodger Stadium. This year’s Midsummer Classic will be held at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, which previously hosted the All-Star Game in 1979 and 2001.

TickPick’s cheapest get-in price for the ASG is $369, while the highest-priced tickets are listed for more than $2,900. The previous most expensive MLB All-Star Game on record, according to TickPick, was the 2018 ASG hosted by the Washington Nationals, which had an average purchase price of $521.

T-Mobile Park will also host MLB’s Home Run Derby on July 10, the night before the 93rd edition of the All-Star Game. This year’s All-Star Weekend will also mark MLB’s debut of the Swingman Classic HBCU All-Star Game, played Friday at T-Mobile Park.

Other events planned for All-Star Weekend in Seattle include the Futures Game and Celebrity Softball Game on Saturday, July 8. Participants for the Celebrity Softball Game will include NBA stars Donovan Mitchell and Zach LaVine, retired MLB stars Adam Jones, Félix Hernández, Ryan Howard, and Mike Cameron, Real Madrid soccer player Rodrygo, Olympic snowboard gold medalist Chloe Kim, and softball legend Jennie Finch.

Surging ticket demand for the MLB All-Star Game reflects broader attendance increases across the league so far this season, its first with a pitch clock to induce shorter game times. Last month, commissioner Rob Manfred said MLB is projecting a 6% to 8% full-season attendance bump this year over the 2022 season.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
