Mike Golic and Mike Golic Jr. will be leaving the DraftKings Network when their contracts expire in the coming months, FOS has learned.

Mike Golic and his son, Mike Golic Jr., will have a new home for their content in 2025.

The father-son sports analyst duo is departing the DraftKings Network in the coming months, a DraftKings spokesperson confirmed to Front Office Sports.

“After careful consideration, DraftKings has decided not to renew agreements with Mike Golic Sr. and Mike Golic Jr. for GoJo and Golic. We want to thank the Golics for their contributions to DraftKings,” the company said in a statement. “We remain focused on optimizing current and future content investments to continue to grow the audiences for DraftKings Network and DraftKingsNetwork.com.”

GoJo & Golic streams daily for two hours in the morning on the DraftKings Network, which is available to stream on Samsung TV Plus, Roku Channel, Sling Freestream, and Google TV for free.

Mike Golic joined DraftKings in 2021, and Golic Jr. followed in 2022. Both had previously been at ESPN, where Golic Sr. spent 25 years. Golic Sr. was best known for his 17-year run hosting Mike & Mike on ESPN Radio morning drive with Mike Greenberg. After Greenberg departed to host Get Up on ESPN’s TV network, Trey Wingo became Golic’s cohost.

In addition to its content network, DraftKings has sponsorship deals with Barstool Sports, Colin Cowherd’s Volume, and Dan Le Batard and John Skipper’s Meadowlark Media.

A source told FOS that the Golics’ contracts expire in late March.

It is unclear where they are headed next. One source told FOS that the two have had “exploratory” talks with Yahoo Sports, but that no potential deal is imminent. Yahoo recently partnered with Ariel Helwani for the Uncrowned combat sports vertical, and inked a deal with former Ringer NBA host Kevin O’Connor for a multiplatform show. A Yahoo spokesperson declined to comment.

A source close to the Golics tells FOS they have had early discussions with a number of other outlets as well.
