Fever guard Sophie Cunningham has a new podcast cohost and new show title under The Volume umbrella.

Cunningham’s show, Show Me Something—which she cohosted with West Wilson, her best friend from high school who’s now a reality TV star—has been dark since late June with no explanation as listeners wondered what happened. On Thursday, Cunningham announced a new show, No Hesitation, with cohost Drew Hanlen, a celebrity basketball trainer.

“Drew and I love this sport, we could talk basketball all day. Now we will!” Cunningham said in a statement. “We’ll dive into everything around the WNBA and NBA and can’t wait to share our thoughts. The Volume has been an awesome partner in making that happen.”

A source with knowledge of the situation told Front Office Sports that changes to Show Me Something had been in the works “for months,” as the program had an expiring one-year deal and Cunningham and Volume officials wanted a show that was more strictly focused on basketball.

Several weeks after Show Me Something went dark, Wilson appeared to take a shot at comments Cunningham made regarding transgender athletes. In an interview with ESPN published in July, Cunningham asserted that she wasn’t afraid to weigh in about her desire to “protect women’s sports.”

“I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I’m like, ‘I never once said that,’” Cunningham said. “I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.”

Four days after the story published, Wilson, who previously starred on the reality TV program Summer House, posted a rebuttal on TikTok. “Transgender athletes in American sports are such a borderline non-existent issue,” Wilson said.

He continued, “Right-wingers have convinced a massive portion of people in our country that these people are, like, a threat to sports in America, when mathematically it’s not the case at all.”

Cunningham’s new show with Hanlen is slated to launch Thursday.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
