The defending champion Las Vegas Aces have unveiled their new practice facility and team headquarters, marking the first facility in the WNBA’s 27-year history built solely for a WNBA team.

The new 64,000-square-foot facility is located next to the headquarters for the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, which share ownership with the Aces. The Aces’ facility has a player lounge with TV and gaming consoles, a locker room, a film room, a training room, a family room, and two basketball courts with four LED scoreboards and seating for more than 400 people.

Each player’s locker comes with a TV and a built-in Mac mini-computer. The locker room space includes an 85-inch TV display, and bluetooth enabled sound system controlled by an in-wall touchscreen. Other weight room and training area features for the Aces include hot and cold plunge pools, an infrared sauna, cryotherapy, and a nutrition bar.

CAA ICON led the design of the facility, which began being built in 2021. This has been a busy offseason for the Aces, who also added Tom Brady as a minority owner in March.

The Aces’ new home ahead of the 2023 WNBA season could soon be joined by another WNBA-specific practice facility for the Seattle Storm. The Storm is planning to open a 50,000-square-foot practice facility with team offices that would cost $64 million to build.
