Kevin Durant became the latest athlete to land a lifetime deal with Nike, joining Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The agreement between the Phoenix Suns forward and the shoe giant was announced via Durant’s website, Boardroom, on Friday. Durant has had an endorsement deal with Nike going back to when he entered the league as a member of the Seattle Supersonics in 2007.

That collaboration has led to 15 signature shoes being released over the years, with a 16th en route.

“When I first signed with Nike, I couldn’t have dreamed of how far we’d go in this partnership,” Durant said in a statement.

According to the announcement, Nike will continue to support Durant’s charity initiatives, including the Durant Family Foundation and Durant’s Team Durant youth basketball program.

“We’ve done amazing work creatively and philanthropically,” Durant said. “We’ve traveled the world together and built a business that will now last forever. I’m excited for the future and honored to be in rare company with this deal.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“As one of best basketball players in the world, Kevin Durant has been an important part of the Nike family for the past 16 years,” Nike Executive V  of Global Sports Marketing John Slusher said in a statement. “ We look forward to continuing to serve the next generation of athletes together.”
