Steve Nash Lists Brooklyn Townhouse for $6.25M

Steve Nash has listed his townhouse in Brooklyn’s Cobble Hill neighborhood for $6.25 million, reports the New York Post. The former Brooklyn Nets coach wants to sell the home for $1.25 million more than he bought it in 2020.

The 4,200 square-foot pad has five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a curved plaster staircase, landscaped garden, and a private roof deck with views of the Manhattan skyline. There’s also a full-floor main bedroom with a walk-in closet leading to a spa-like bath and a living room with an original marble fireplace mantel.

Nash’s attempt to sell his Brooklyn home comes six months after he and the Nets abruptly parted ways following a tenure filled with off-court controversies and trade requests from star players Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and James Harden. 

Nash, who was hired by the Nets in 2020 with no previous head coaching experience, lasted two-plus seasons with the franchise. He finished 48-24 in his first season. He was let go seven games into the 2022-23 season.

Also listed on the market from Nash is his nearby property in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood that he’s trying to sell for $4.4 million.
