Three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Bad Bunny has launched Rimas Sports, a management agency focused on working with Latin American athletes. After helping Spanish-language music reach mainstream popularity worldwide, the Puerto Rican rapper now intends to support Latin ballplayers with marketing services.

Rimas Entertainment music industry executives Noah Assad and Jonathan Miranda have partnered with Bad Bunny on the new sports agency, which will offer agent management, brand relations and marketing, public relations, and financial advising, among other services to athletes. Baseball Hall of Fame catcher Iván “Pudge” Rodríguez also serves as an ambassador to Rimas Sports.

Several Latin American MLB players have already signed with Rimas Sports, including Blue Jays infielder and 2022 All-Star Santiago Espinal, Rockies center fielder Yonathan Daza and shortstop Ezequiel Tovar, and Giants infielder Wilmer Flores. Rimas has also signed top-ranked MLB prospects Wilmer Flores Jr. (Tigers), Ronny Mauricio (Mets), Marco Luciano (Giants), and Diego Cartaya (Dodgers).

Assad co-founded and is CEO of Rimas Entertainment, which launched in 2014, and managed other Latin music artists such as Tommy Torres.

“In the music world, we accomplished success by knowing how to develop talent, helping our clients reach their vision by catering to their unique needs. This new venture is an expansion of that mission as we aim to bring greater representation to the Latin community in the world of sports,” Assad said in a statement.
