Jordan Clarkson Buys Mansion in Hometown San Antonio

  • Clarkson paid $7.5 million for the 10,100-square foot, three-story estate.
  • The Utah Jazz star grew up and played high school basketball in San Antonio.

NBA star Jordan Clarkson has purchased a beautiful new home, which could serve as a small hint on where the next stop in his NBA career will take him.

Per public records, Texas injury attorney Thomas J. Henry recently sold his mansion in the affluent San Antonio neighborhood of The Dominion to JClarkson Enterprises, LLC — a company affiliated with Clarkson — for $7.5 million.

Clarkson’s company took out a $3.78 million loan to purchase the home.

The 10,100-square foot, three-story estate sits on 1.12 acres of land and contains five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms.

The mansion also features an elevator, game room, outdoor casita, theater with stadium seating, and pool with full bar and pizza oven.

Ordinarily, a real estate transaction doesn’t necessarily indicate a roster move for the player. But in this case, the evidence is compelling for a potential Clarkson move to the Spurs.

  • The 30-year-old grew up and played high school basketball in the San Antonio area.
  • In 2020, he signed a four-year, $52 million contract with the Jazz — which includes a player option after the 2022-23 season.
  • Per NBA insider Marc Stein, Clarkson recently rejected an extension offer from Utah.

With the Spurs (13-28) very much in the sweepstakes for generational prospect Victor Wembanyama, a return to San Antonio could be in the cards for Clarkson — who could even take a hometown discount, considering he’s earned almost $87 million through his NBA contracts throughout his career.
