Before playing a key role in winning his fourth NBA title with the Warriors, Steph Curry quietly sold off his mansion in the United States’ wealthiest zip code.

Recent reports reveal that Curry sold his residence in the Bay Area suburb of Atherton last fall for $31.2 million — only slightly more than the $31 million he bought it for in 2019, which, at the time, was the most expensive sale in the Bay Area that year.

The off-market buyer is Singapore-based Chinese billionaire Forrest Li — the founder, chairman, and CEO of tech conglomerate Sea. Li reportedly lost $18 billion of his net worth to the tech crash earlier this year but still has a net worth of $3 billion.

The 7,500-square-foot stucco and glass home features four bedrooms and six bathrooms and is located behind gates at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac.

The mansion also has a sundeck-encased pool, a cabana with a fireplace, and a built-in barbeque. The property also contains a small guesthouse and a detached three-car garage.

It’s unknown whether Curry and his wife Ayesha have bought another primary residence in California — but they purchased a vacation home in Winter Park, Florida, this past summer.
