Coco Gauff is carving out some memorable moments in Paris.
Last week, the 18-year-old celebrated her high school graduation at the Eiffel Tower — and on Tuesday at Roland Garros, she reached her first career Grand Slam semifinal.
The 18-seed blitzed fellow American and former U.S. Open winner Sloane Stephens, 7-5, 6-2, to set up a showdown with unseeded Martina Trevisan on Thursday for a place in the French Open final.
Gauff, who has not lost a set in the tournament, arrived at Roland Garros having earned $662,000 in 2022 ($3.2M career) — and she’s added about $644,000 for reaching the semis.
A semi win would bring in $1.2 million, and her first career Grand Slam victory would earn an extra $2.4 million payday.
Top-seeded Iga Swiatek remains the tournament favorite (-300), though Gauff now has the second-best odds (+400) to capture the Suzanne-Lenglen Cup.
