As he weighs a decision about whether to return to football, Aaron Donald is also making moves in the media space, Front Office Sports has learned.
Donald has signed with Jon Rosen’s management team at Envisionary to grow his businesses, brand partnerships, and overall profile in the media and entertainment industries, Rosen confirmed to FOS.
Donald is also in the process of developing a docuseries, one source said.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NFL history, Donald retired after the 2023 season following 10 years with the Rams. He was an eight-time All-Pro, three-time AP Defensive Player of the Year, and a Super Bowl champion.
The combination of his personality and his accomplishments would make him a coveted NFL analyst should he ultimately choose to go in that direction.
He has publicly flirted with a return to the Rams since the team acquired Myles Garrett in a blockbuster trade with the Browns in June. Head coach Sean McVay added fuel to the fire earlier this month when he said, “If there’s an arrow, it’s trending upward,” referring to the possibility of the defensive lineman’s comeback.
Envisionary has recently completed deals for Kyle Long to join CBS’s NFL Today studio show, Lauren Shehadi’s renewal with MLB Network and new deal with Netflix, as well as Kelly O’Hara’s podcast with Just Women Sports and analyst role covering soccer for CBS.
