In early 2026, video versions of Barstool’s Pardon My Take, Spittin Chiclets, and The Ryen Russillo Show will launch in the U.S. market, with more countries to follow. The deal includes both new and select episodes from each show’s libraries. UTA represents Barstool and brokered the deal with Netflix.

Audio versions of the shows will remain on Spotify, Apple, and other podcast platforms.

“We’re thrilled to team up with Barstool Sports and bring their top video podcasts to Netflix,” said Lauren Smith, Netflix’s vp of content licensing and programming strategy, in a statement. “This partnership broadens how our members connect with Barstool’s leading sports voices and delivers exactly what our members crave: unfiltered commentary, sharp takes, and undeniable humor. We look forward to giving fans another exciting way to engage with the conversations they love on Netflix.”

Pardon My Take host Dan “Big Cat” Katz announced the deal on Wednesday’s episode. “Major news,” Katz said before sharing that the show’s video will be exclusively on Netflix beginning in January. There is no exact date set yet. “It’s a big deal for the podcast. … It’s going to open some more doors for us,” including allowing “the behind the scenes guys share in the success of the podcast.”

Co-host Eric Sollenberger added, “Netflix sounds like they’re gonna be a great partner.” He said all three shows came together to discuss the deal and agreed that “it’s going to be a really good thing for everyone involved.”

Barstool, which got its start as an irreverent alternative to mainstream sports media, previously signed a sweeping content deal with Fox in July that brought the new Wake Up Barstool morning TV show to FS1. Founder Dave Portnoy also joined the cast of the Big Noon Kickoff, helping to juice the college football pregame show’s ratings by 14% this season.

Netflix earlier this month agreed to buy Warner Bros. Discovery, beating out Paramount and Comcast with a record $82.7 million deal. The streaming giant currently has more than 300 million paid members worldwide.
