Burrow, Goff, Jones Were Not on ‘White Dudes for Harris’ Call

  • The ‘White Dudes for Harris’ fundraiser raised $4 million.
  • Several sources confirmed to ‘FOS’ that the quarterbacks were not present.

It’s July, so it’s time for quarterback controversies. The newest one naturally involves presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

On Monday, a fundraiser called “White Dudes for Harris” raised $4 million for the vice president’s campaign.

Among the reported cameos were actors Mark Hamill, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Jeff Bridges along with quarterbacks Joe Burrow, Daniel Jones, and Jared Goff.

The famous actors were indeed present. The quarterbacks were not.

The X account Kamala’s Wins wrote “BREAKING: Joe Burrow is supporting Kamala Harris for President and even joined the White Dudes for Kamala call.” The post has since been deleted, but it didn’t stop there. Early Tuesday morning, Neal Kwatra, whose X bio says he’s a former chief of staff for the New York attorney general, posted that Burrow, Jones, and Goff were all on the call, amplifying the incorrect report, which exploded on social media Tuesday.

The Bengals have since shot down the report that Burrow was on the call.

Sources close to Jones and Goff confirmed to Front Office Sports that neither was on the calls.

The Kamala’s Wins account—unaffiliated with her presidential campaign—did not immediately respond to a message.

While neither Jones nor Goff is particularly outspoken politically, Burrow has previously supported abortion rights and tougher gun laws. In March, Burrow took a photo with former President Donald Trump at UFC 299 in Miami.
