With the average NFL franchise valued at $5.1 billion and revenue at all-time highs, the most popular teams in the league stand to profit more than ever — and are being watched by tens of millions weekly.

The Chiefs are the most-watched team in the NFL, drawing 25.5 million viewers per game in 2024. Despite residing in a small market, Kansas City benefited from their star power and winning football.

The Chiefs had the most regular season games drawing over 25 million viewers with five.

Second are the Lions attracting 23.8 million viewers. Detroit has been riding the high of their breakout season last year when they made it all the way to the NFC Championship game.

Their win against the Vikings in Week 18 was flexed to primetime by NBC as they secured the top seed in the NFC with a win.

Two teams are tied for third with 23.8 million viewers: the Cowboys and the Ravens.

Despite a poor season, Dallas still outdrew teams with winning records. As the NFL’s most valuable franchise, Dallas uses their well-known brand to attract fans nationwide.

Baltimore had three games that attracted over 25 million viewers in 2024. Led by two-time MVP Lamar Jackson, Ravens’ games were featured ten times among the most-watched broadcasts, tied for fourth.

The Chiefs and Cowboys had the joint most games among the most-watched broadcasts with 13 each.

Dallas and San Fransisco are the only teams with losing records who were among the top ten most-watched teams of 2024.
