Amid the madness in Miami Gardens at the Copa América final Sunday night, the president of the Colombian Football Federation, Ramón Jesurún, was arrested along with his son. The two are accused of getting into an altercation with security guards in the early hours of Monday morning after the team lost 1–0 to Argentina.

Jesurún is also a vice president for CONMEBOL and member of the FIFA Council.

Jesurún faces three felony counts of battery, according to Miami’s ABC affiliate WPLG. His 43-year-old son, Ramon Jamil Jesurún, faces the same counts, plus another misdemeanor battery charge, according to CBS Sports. A video posted by Fox Sports Mexico appears to show the incident, in which the account says a brawl ensued after security allowed Argentinian fans to take the elevator but stopped Colombian fans. Both men were set to appear Monday afternoon in Miami-Dade bond court.

Dozens of people were arrested at the stadium, with the Associated Press reporting that police made at least 27 arrests, and the number may have been higher amid the chaos in the venue.

Viral videos show fans storming security and climbing through air vents, police removing fans without tickets, and shattered escalators. The game was delayed for more than an hour as organizers tried to wrangle the crowds.
