Tom Brady Hints Rumors of Possible Dolphins Deal Were True

  • The seven-time Super Bowl winner was rumored to be in talks with Miami — possibly for a front-office role.
  • The GOAT’s deal with the Buccaneers runs through the 2022 season.

One of the hottest rumors this offseason was that Tom Brady could land with the Dolphins as quarterback, part of the front office — or both.

Instead, the GOAT remained with the Buccaneers and is preparing for his 23rd NFL season.

On Thursday, Brady didn’t exactly deny those rumors of taking his talents to South Beach when speaking to the media.

”I had a lot of conversations with a lot of people…the last three or four years of my career, about different opportunities when I’m done playing football. So, I kind of made a decision of what I’d like to do, and I’ll get to be in the game of football,” Brady told reporters.

“I think for me, the most important thing is where I’m at now and what I hope to do for this team.”

In March, 2021, the seven-time Super Bowl winner inked a two-year, $50 million extension that will keep him in Tampa through the 2022 season. Whether or not he continues to play after that, he’s set up his next gig — as the highest-paid broadcaster in sports.
