Tiger Woods was back on the course at Augusta National on Monday while he decides whether to enter his first official tournament since nearly losing his right leg in a car crash in February 2021.

After practicing Sunday, the five-time green jacket winner called teeing up for Thursday’s first round of the Masters a “game-time decision.”

Woods created a bit of a stir with his choice of shoes while on the practice range on Sunday.

Affiliated with Nike since turning pro in 1996, Woods was spotted wearing Footjoy brand shoes.

Nike issued a statement saying, “Like golf fans around the world, we are delighted to see Tiger back on the course … As he continues his return, we will work with him to meet his new needs.”

Woods’ miraculous run to the 2019 Masters title — the last of his 15 major victories — was reportedly worth $22.5 million to Nike.

Woods has up until his tee time on Thursday to announce his decision.

The 46-year-old, who has slipped to No. 973 in the world rankings, last played in a tournament when he finished tied for 38th at the Masters in November 2020.
