    Amanda Vandervort is the president of the USL Super League, a professional women’s soccer league coming to the United States in fall of 2024. Vandervort has been tasked with the operations and growth of the league. She joins senior writer Owen Poindexter to talk through the process of starting a professional sport’s league, the USL Super League’s place in American Sports, and the rising interest in women’s sports.
