The Nuggets have solidified their broadcast team on Altitude Sports for the upcoming season, Front Office Sports has learned.
Noah Reed will call play-by-play alongside color commentator Katy Winge, while Lauren Gardner will be a studio host and reporter, and Jason Richardson will be the studio analyst. Altitude Sports & Entertainment SVP and GM Matthew Krol confirmed to FOS.
“We are thrilled to introduce this talented and dynamic broadcast team for the upcoming season,” Krol said in a statement, adding that the talents “represent the perfect blend of fresh energy, proven expertise, and deep knowledge of the game.”
The new team replaces play-by-play broadcaster Chris Marlowe, color commentator Scott Hastings, and reporter/analyst Chris Dempsey.
Reed was a member of FOS’s list of rising-star play-by-play broadcasters last year. He also calls college football and basketball for Fox Sports, as well as college hoops for NBC Sports. He is part of a group of Ball State alumni who are ascending in broadcasting, which also includes Fox announcers Connor Onion and Jack Kizer. Winge is being promoted after working as a host, reporter, and analyst on Nuggets telecasts. She played college basketball at Illinois State.
Richardson had a 13-year NBA career, including six seasons with the Warriors. Gardner has previously worked as a host for MLB Network, NHL Network, and Apple TV MLB telecasts, and as an in-game host for Rockies games.
“Our fans can look forward to compelling storytelling and high-quality coverage that matches the excitement on the court,” Krol said.
