Glen “Big Baby” Davis is known for playing professional basketball — but boxing might be next on the list for the former Celtics champion.
Jake Paul wants Davis to fight in a preliminary round for his next fight in August.
Paul and his “Most Valuable Promotions” notably promoted last month’s Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano fight — a giant box-office success which was the first women’s combat sports main event in the history of Madison Square Garden.
MVP is reportedly looking for a former heavyweight WWE star to fight against the 6-9, 300-pound Davis.
Davis, 36, played nine seasons in the NBA — most recently in 2014-15 with the Los Angeles Clippers. Since then, he’s participated in Ice Cube’s BIG3 basketball tournament.
There’s a chance he might not be able to partake, though. Davis violated his bail by watching the Celtics during Game 4 at TD Garden, and the court threatened to send him to a detention center if he commits another violation.
