The Dallas Cowboys are teaming up with Blockchain.com, becoming the first NFL team with an official cryptocurrency partnership.
The London-based crypto company will serve as the exclusive digital asset partner for the $6.5 billion Cowboys, the NFL’s highest-valued team.
Blockchain — which in March said that it raised capital at a $14 billion valuation — will receive immense access to the Cowboys brand.
- Blockchain will have its own club space at AT&T Stadium.
- It’ll have rights to social and digital content on all platforms.
- It will post visible signs inside the stadium bowl for advertising purposes, including TV and radio.
Given how much cryptocurrency has grown in recent years, the collaboration shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
The NBA signed its first crypto sponsorship deal with Coinbase in October, and Crypto.com bought the naming rights to Los Angeles’ Staples Center — home to the Lakers, Clippers, Sparks, and Kings — for $700 million.
