With more than 100 podcast episodes under his belt, 14-year NBA veteran and current New Orleans Pelicans guard J.J. Redick is launching a podcast company: ThreeFourTwo Productions. Partnering with podcast company Cadence13, ThreeFourTwo will build out a network of podcasts including Redick’s new show, “The Old Man and the Three.”

Redick, who will feature guests ranging from voting rights activist Stacey Abrams to Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, is the latest athlete to push deeper into podcasts.

The Ringer and Spotify recently signed an exclusive audio deal with former Cy Young Award-winner CC Sabathia and his “R2C2” podcast with broadcaster Ryan Ruocco. The Ringer, which was acquired by Spotify in February for $200 million, also launched “The Ringer NBA Show” a weekly podcast with staff writer Logan Murdock and retired NBA player Raja Bell.

Other Notable Athlete Podcasts:

The Compound – Chicago Cubs second baseman Ian Happ

Just Women’s Sports – U.S. Women’s Soccer player Kelley O’Hara
