Pablo Torre: Not Getting Sued By Jordon Hudson ‘Kind of a Bummer’

Hudson had threatened to sue Torre for defamation after his podcast, Pablo Torre Finds Out, suggested she lied about her age in the North Carolina football staff family directory.

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and podcaster Pablo Torre has gotten under the skin of some of America’s wealthiest people, but only one target of his investigations has ever verbally threatened to sue him: Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

While speaking to Front Office Sports Tonight, Torre admitted a part of him was disappointed Hudson didn’t follow through on her threat.

“She said on Instagram, ‘P.S. I’m suing you,’ and did not,” Torre told FOS Tonight’s Bridget Condon. “Which is both relieving and kind of a bummer, because I think that would be a fun trial.”

Last year, Torre’s podcast, Pablo Torre Finds Out, produced multiple investigations into Hudson. They focused on Hudson’s management of Belichick’s commercial ventures and her relationship with the North Carolina football program, which hired Belichick as its head coach following the 2024 season.

In one May 2025 episode, Torre suggested that Hudson may have lied about her age on UNC’s directory for family of its football staff. For a period of time, the directory listed Hudson as being born in 2000, while she was actually born in 2001.

“This was not an online form with preset or scrollable options,” Torre wrote on X after the episode. “This was the sort of thing where you type the information yourself and send it in.”

However, Hudson produced a screenshot of text messages between her and UNC Athletics chief of personnel Emily Muse, which painted a different picture. In the texts, Muse wrote that she “purely guessed” Hudson’s birth year after Hudson sent her a birth date that did not specify a year.

Torre also reported that Hudson had been banned from the UNC football facility, a claim the program denied.

In November, Hudson escalated the public back-and-forth with an Instagram post that contained a selfie and the aforementioned “P.S. I’m suing you” caption. Nearly a year later, Torre confirmed that no legal proceedings had ever been initiated.
