The high school football player with the highest name, image, and likeness valuation has made an official commitment to his future team.
Isadore Newman quarterback Arch Manning signed his national letter of intent on Wednesday — six months after first announcing his intention to become a Longhorn.
Manning has an NIL valuation of $3.5 million, according to On3 — the highest of any football player, high school or college, and behind only high school basketball sensations Bronny James ($7.5M) and Mikey Williams ($3.6M).
Manning has an equal earning potential to Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, and outpaces USC quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams by $300,000.
Several major factors have contributed to the gargantuan expectations for his NIL earnings.
- Manning is the No. 1 recruit (according to 247Sports) in the most popular NCAA sport — that boasts the most visibility.
- The son of Cooper Manning, he’s the third generation of a family dynasty of NFL quarterbacks.
- Manning’s star power even transcends some of the typical NIL metrics, like social media following. On Instagram, for example, he has only 144,000 followers and two posts.
It’s important to note, however, that this NIL valuation is just a projection. Manning hasn’t announced any public deals yet.
