The University of Memphis is launching a new ticket offering this football season called “Win Together” that awards fans free tickets when the Tigers win at home.

For $60, fans can purchase a ticket to Memphis’s home opener against Bethune-Cookman on Saturday, September 2, at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. If the Tigers win, each Win Together ticket holder will receive a free ticket to the team’s next home game against Navy.

A win against Navy grants Win Together holders free tickets to the next Memphis home game, and so forth, until the Tigers lose at home. Should Memphis play undefeated at home this season, Win Together holders can pay $60 for tickets to all six home games (Bethune-Cookman, Navy, Boise State, Tulane, South Florida, and SMU). However, one Memphis home loss ends the Win Together offer.

“This is another great example of a fun way where people can invest in Memphis Football this season,” University of Memphis VP and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Laird Veatch said in a statement. “We are gearing up for an exciting year, and we are happy to give fans the opportunity to win right alongside the Tigers in this way.”

Memphis football plays in the American Athletic Conference, which recently lost three of its biggest members due to conference realignment as Cincinnati, Houston, and UCF all moved to the Big-12 starting with the 2023 football season. In response to the three departures, the AAC added six member schools: North Texas, Rice, FAU, Charlotte, UTSA, and UAB.

The City of Memphis has committed $350 million to renovate Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium and FedEx Forum, home of the NBA’s Grizzlies. Construction on Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium is planned to begin after the 2023 football season and be finished by the start of the 2025 season.
