Tyler Herro’s Miami Suburb Purchase Breaks Record

As Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro continues to establish himself as an important cog for his team, he has settled into a new Miami-area home — and set a record in the process.

Just before the new year, Herro paid $10.5 million for a non-waterfront home in suburban Pinecrest — the largest sum ever paid for a house in the affluent Miami village, per The Real Deal.

The previous record was actually set earlier in December when a Pinecrest home sold for $10.3 million.

The company that ultimately sold the house to Herro paid $5.3 million for it while it was under construction last year. It was initially listed on the market for $11.9 million.

Herro’s new abode covers 9,500 square feet on nearly an acre of land, and has eight bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms.

The Balinese-style home includes a gourmet kitchen, wine cellar, summer kitchen, cabana, pool, and media room.

Herro has plenty of money to spend on his new living situation: In October, the 22-year-old signed a four-year, $130 million contract extension with the Heat.
