On Sunday, the England women’s national team took down powerhouse Germany in a 2-1 extra-time thriller to claim their first UEFA Women’s Euro title in front of a record Wembley Stadium crowd of 87,192.

In October, their international friendly against the United States could see a similar — or even larger — audience.

The recently scheduled match has officially sold out all available general admission tickets, with only hospitality packages remaining.

The matchup between the two incredibly popular national teams was already the fastest-selling women’s match in history outside of a major tournament, as Wembley sold 65,000 tickets on the first day of sale.

The previous record of 50,000 in the first 24 hours was held by the UEFA Women’s Champions League Match between Barcelona and VfL Wolfsburg at Camp Nou. That match holds the women’s attendance record at 91,648.

October’s match at Wembley almost certainly won’t be able to break that record, as the stadium’s official capacity is listed at 90,000.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
