Peyton Manning Producing Netflix Series on Collectibles Boom

  • Ken Goldin confirms reality TV deal with Manning’s Omaha Productions.

Peyton Manning is taking on Hollywood.

Manning’s Omaha Productions is expanding beyond sports to produce reality TV programs, game shows, and awards shows.

Collectibles kingpin Ken Goldin confirmed Manning’s production company will co-produce a show on Netflix about his life and company.

Manning will serve as an executive producer on the show. Omaha Productions is working with Wheelhouse to produce the show. 

“Working with Omaha gives us a lot of unique opportunities. Obviously they have a great sports background,” Goldin told Front Office Sports on Friday. “We thought they’d be great partners with us as well as open a lot of doors.”

Capitalizing on the popularity of ManningCast for “Monday Night Football,” the Super Bowl-winning quarterback has been expanding Omaha’s entertainment portfolio. 

Among the production house’s new projects:

  • Omaha Productions is working on a possible game show for NBC where kids and adults compete against each other, said sources. NBC declined to comment.
  • Manning was the executive producer for the “NFL Honors” ceremony that aired Thursday night on ABC.
  • ESPN and parent Walt Disney Co. announced Wednesday that it is extending the Manning brother’s popular ManningCast by one more year through the 2024 season. Omaha Productions will also create presentations for other ESPN properties, including college football, golf, and UFC.
