Miss singing your alma-mater in the stands? Want to get even closer to the action through your favorite chants? Creator Global and their latest product, Super Bulbs, want to help you satisfy those needs from the comfort of your living room couch.

Super Bulbs is a wi-fi connected speaker light that reacts in real time through sports data feeds and creates lights, songs, sounds and celebrations of a live college football game to the fans’ home.

“We often hear about the ‘stadium experience at home’ but we felt there was nothing that truly delivered the ‘fun stuff’ of what’s happening in the stadium — until now,” said Creator Global CEO Travis Crothers. “Broadcasts today are incredible, and watching sport on a UHDTV is certainly impressive, but the experience is still curated around the game and a lot of commentary.

While being able to stay home and avoid the hassle and cost that comes along with attending sporting events is a draw for many fans, the one element missing from your living room is the atmosphere created inside the stadium.

Super Bulbs wants to help change that.

“Everyone who’s ever been in a packed stadium knows the unique energy that comes with singing along with 75,000 of your closest fan friends, the special chants and the manic dancing,” said Crothers. “You just don’t get that from your TV screen or via an App. So that’s the magic we have made a reality with Super Bulbs. Imagine when ‘that song’ comes on in the stadium and you are able to join in the singalong with all fans from across the country, right there from your living room.”

The device is powered by Sports Socket, a proprietary platform that binds together multiple feeds and APIs and builds a unique feed with quick link technology, then sends it out to the device.

As a piece of technology the relies on the IoT to provide fans a world class experience, Crothers and his team are excited about the possible capabilities as the product continues to evolve.

“The fan-tech category is at an exciting intersection between technology, digital innovation, marketing, licensing and loyalty,” he said. “What we do know is that IoT will play an increasingly vital role in how fans engage with their teams and vise versa. Our biggest challenge is not developing these products, but navigating which department should own the execution at team and brand level.”

If you are thinking this looks similar to the Budweiser Red Light, you wouldn’t be mistaken as Crothers and his two business partners worked on this project for Budweiser when at a previous company.

Whether you want to add some flair to your man cave or are looking for a unique way to celebrate the biggest moments alongside your team, Super Bulbs hopes that when you do, it is right there to help you.
