Steve Levy, Louis Riddick and Brian Griese are officially the new booth trio for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” broadcast, the network announced Monday.

“Steve, Brian and Louis are trusted voices of the NFL whose knowledge and love of football connects with fans,” Connor Schell, ESPN executive vice president of content, said in a statement. “We are thrilled that they will join Lisa Salters to make up our new Monday Night Football team and share their passion and insight with football fans in what promises to be a great broadcast each week.”

Salters returns for her eighth season on the sidelines for MNF and John Parry is back for his second season as the broadcast’s officiating analyst.

Levy, Riddick and Griese replace the two-man booth of Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland, who were the broadcast team for the past two seasons.

The first MNF contest between the Tennessee Titans and Denver Broncos on Sept. 14 will be the debut broadcast for the new three-man booth.

Levy, Riddick and Griese were part of the last season’s MNF double-header.

Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler will take the first half of the season-opening doubleheader this season as ESPN’s top college football announcing team calls the Pittsburgh Steelers andNew York Giants game.

“Chris and Kirk are commentators at the top of their game and have thrilled college football fans for many years,” Schell said in a statement. “We are looking to add new opportunities to their expansive portfolios and are confident that NFL fans will be just as excited to hear one of the most prolific broadcasting duos on Monday Night Football.

Herbstreit and Fowler were under consideration for the MNF booth, Front Office Sports reported in July.
