The league will play games in London, Manchester, Berlin, and Paris in the coming years while it pushes for its own league on the continent.

The NBA continues to beef up its European presence.

On Wednesday, the league announced that Grizzlies and Magic will play two regular season games in January 2026, one in Berlin and a second in London. The announcement comes as the league is “exploring” its own European league along with FIBA.

Additionally, the NBA will play regular season games in Manchester, England and Paris in 2027 and Berlin and Paris in 2028. Those matchups are still to be determined.

The game in Berlin will mark the NBA’s 14th in Germany and first regular season game to be played in the country while the London game will be the 19th overall and 10th regular season game. The Berlin game will also be a homecoming for Magic forwards Moe and Franz Wagner, who hail from the city and led Germany to the 2023 FIBA World Cup title in the Philippines. Magic forward Tristan da Silva is from Munich.

The Manchester game will be the league’s first regular season game in the city after a preseason game in 2013.

Additionally, Maverick Carter—LeBron James’ longtime business partner—is exploring his own global league, which would include European stops, and is actively seeking investors for it
