LeBron’s SpringHill Reportedly Considering Merger With Grammys, ‘Kardashians’ Producers

The two production companies have been in talks for months.

LeBron James’s media company SpringHill is reportedly in talks with the production company behind The Kardashians about a potential merger.

The two sides have reportedly been in discussions for several months. Bloomberg first reported news of the talks.

James and business partner Maverick Carter founded SpringHill Entertainment in 2007, which became SpringHill in 2020 when it merged with two of their other companies, Uninterrupted and The Robot Co. In recent years, it’s created Space Jam: A New Legacy and the new NBA series Starting 5 on Netflix, starring James.

British company Fulwell 73 was founded in 2005. It’s produced several sports projects, including the recent Netflix soccer docuseries Captains of the World and Sunderland ’Til I Die, and Amazon Prime Video’s 2021 All or Nothing: Juventus. It’s also made documentaries for Universal about track legends Usain Bolt and Mo Farah. Notably, it has produced the Grammy Awards for the past four years, and made projects like Carpool Karaoke: The Series (James Corden is an investor, and the company used to produce his late-night show) and Adele One Night Only. Eldridge Industries—the investment company of Los Angeles Dodgers and Chelsea FC owner Todd Boehly—is a part-owner of Fulwell.

There’s plenty of crossover between the two sides, at least publicly. Adele is engaged to James’s longtime agent, Klutch Sports’ Rich Paul. Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner is dating talent manager Corey Gamble, a friend of Paul and Lakers owner Jeanie Buss who frequents the team’s courtside seats. James is also a co-chair of the 2025 Met Gala, which further cements his off-the-court status among the Hollywood elite.

Representatives for SpringHill and Fulwell 73 did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
