Jason Kelce is heading up I-95 from Philadelphia to Bristol.
ESPN has landed the former Eagles center, according to The Athletic, which reported the 36-year-old will join the network’s pregame show for Monday Night Football.
Kelce is the older brother of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, the Super Bowl–winning All-Pro probably better known for being Taylor Swift’s boyfriend. The elder Kelce had a number of networks pursuing him as Amazon, NBC, and CBS were all reportedly interested in adding him to their football broadcasts.
The Kelce brothers’ podcast—named New Heights after the Cleveland suburb they grew up in—has developed a huge following in recent years. Jason broke the news of Travis’s relationship with Swift on the podcast.
Kelce just ended a 12-year career with the Eagles in which he helped them win Super Bowl LII and built a reputation as one of the best centers in league history. He’s the latest personality likely bound for Canton to join ESPN. In recent months the network added former Alabama coach Nick Saban to its lineup and will reportedly add former Patriots coach Bill Belichick to its Monday night card in a deal with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions.
