Miami (Ohio) AD Fires Back at Bruce Pearl

Miami (Ohio) AD David Sayler joins Front Office Sports to break down one of the most remarkable stories in college basketball this season. The RedHawks are one of only four teams in the last 35 years to start 30-0, they have clinched at least a share of the MAC regular season title, and they have done it without the NIL budgets of the power conference programs.

Sayler fires back at former Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl, who publicly suggested Miami (Ohio) would finish in the bottom half of the Big East. He also gets into how coach Travis Steele has built a culture that keeps players from leaving, why NCAA tournament expansion will actually hurt mid-majors, what is really wrong with the transfer portal, and why the entire scheduling system is rigged against schools like his.

Plus, the famous alumni who have been texting after every game, the new 240 million dollar arena coming to campus, and the contract extension waiting for Travis Steele.
