Doping Scandal: World’s Fastest 100m Teenager Sues Gatorade

We’re diving into the controversy surrounding Issam Asinga, the world’s fastest teenager, who is suing Gatorade after a four-year ban for consuming a certified product containing a banned substance.

In 2023, Asinga broke the World Under 20 100m record and was set for the World Championships and the Paris Olympics. However, after testing positive for GW1516, a banned fat-burning substance, he and his family discovered contamination in Gatorade Recovery Gummies. Issam’s future hangs in the balance as he fights to clear his name. Who do you think is at fault? Gatorade, Issam, or the AIU? Let us know in the comments!
