Colorado has sold $430,000 in single-game football tickets since its 45-42 upset road win against TCU on Saturday, a spokesperson told Front Office Sports. The ticket surge in the three days following the Buffaloes’ season-opening win is another indication of Deion Sanders’ impact on the school.

Coach Prime’s Colorado debut was broadcasted by Fox and set an attendance record for TCU with more than 53,000 fans. Fox will also broadcast Colorado’s sold-out home opener this weekend against Nebraska in the network’s coveted “Big Noon Saturday” time slot.

As of Tuesday, the cheapest resale ticket on StubHub is more than $400 — the same as the average price for the Nebraska game before the Buffs’ win. According to TickPick, the cheapest “get-in” price for Colorado’s home opener against Nebraska prior to beating TCU was $266.

Colorado’s home opener resale tickets are more expensive than any upcoming Week 1 NFL matchup. The top three NFL games of the week via TickPick: Patriots vs. Eagles (get-in price: $286), Bears vs. Packers ($332), and Chiefs vs. Lions ($162).

Colorado went 1-11 last season and is aiming for a major turnaround under Coach Prime in its last year as a Pac-12 school before joining the Big 12 in 2024.

According to TickPick, the combined cost for a fan who wanted to attend every Buffaloes home game last season was $222 — 53% less expensive than the cheapest ticket to attend Saturday’s game against Nebraska.
